My mother's embrace
In morning's light, a radiant sheen.
A mother's love, forever serene.
A Guiding star in life's vast scene.
This day, we celebrate the queen.
With laughter shared and stories gleaned.
A sonnet penned, love's sweet refrain.
Through seasons changing, life sustains.
In a hug, a haven is gleaned.
Through shadows cast by fleeting fears.
A beacon bright, dispelling tears.
In your love, the heart endears.
Eternal bond, through passing years.

How does she do such great feats?
Does her clock tick to multiple beats?
She taught me to sew and then some.
Not sure where all the energy comes from.
Greatest at organizing, so We'll be just fine.
I think her brain is twice the size of Einstein.
She braids her bread that rises to the sky.
She must get her answers from on high.
She is one of those that are Greatest of these.
Taught me, she did to say thanks and please.
Don't think I can ever give thanks enough.
But from God, she got all the right stuff.

I shall tell you that I love you
Something I hardly ever do.
Words can't tell you enough just what
I want to say to you uncut.
You've never turned your back on me
Always there to help climb a tree
Not sure how much energy lost
But your love has infinite cost
I know an Angel in disguise
Your wings shows you are very wise
Giving & Forgiving never dies
I love you Mom, No Surprise.
