Juntas estamos al terminar este año

Esperando que caiga todo blanco.

Pero Veracruz nos espera con muchos gritos,

Calor y sudor llega justo con los viejitos.

Gracias al Fede y su princesa Fabiola

Que en el fin del año no nos deja sola.

Que empieza todo con mucha fiesta.

Al esperar Lalis porque a todo esta dispuesta.

Sin voz llegó Sisy con los demás peregrinos,

Y la Flor con sus ojos divinos.

Celebramos un mes del recién nacido.

Dando un descanso a su mamá es preferido.

El Fer que guapo esta vestido.

Siga al abuelo sin hacer mucho ruido.

Y la Mary no debemos faltar mencionar.

Porque sin ella todo se para de funcionar.

Al final del año disfruto de mi reina

Amor a mipreciosa de corazón nunca termina.

Quien podría decir quien era

Ella se mueve todo, más  en su cadera.

La mujer vestida tan guapa

Mira que se muestra en su capa.

Con sombrilla en forma de escoba

aterrizando en su alcoba

Cansada de la jornada

Se acostaba en mero madrugada.

Tantas cosas tenia en su bolsa  de pinturas

Por allí escondia todos sus travesuras.

Sacando sus brochas de maquillaje

Para ponerse bella antes de su reportaje.

Loss and Healing

Loved one's lost are hard to deal with,

Solution for all is a myth.

For grieve is found on your own dime.

Help those in and around takes time.

Yet remember others have been

and seen to give guidance with in.

You don't know what to say or do

Just start with simple "How are you?"

I'm here for you. Doesn't seem that much.

To listen is a golden touch.

Shocked, stunned, and yet it's untimely

sudden destruction is likely.

A world you used to know now gone.

Turn me into your listening pawn.

Don't you go down this path alone.

Crying on shoulders helps, it's been shown.

Cry if you want

Cry if you want, it's your party

To Mom and Dad your here and now,

Marvel at these facts together.

Managed to raise four kids somehow.

They're okay despite the weather.

Our family's grown and changed too.

We remember those before us.

Showing love to those in our view.

And their smiles adds an extra plus.

Now your path is laid before you.

Which path are you going to choose.

You're ready to cruise with your crew.

Just try not to scuff up your shoes.

 Poem "The Maine Wall"

With her the time is spent divine.

Watching as the waves become mine.

My shadow starts his long journey.

It's probably still to early.

Move our chairs back, yet it's too soon.

Waves aren't moved fast by the moon.

An unseen wall shows without flaws.

Wrapped itself round us with cold claws.

The wall is faster than the waves.

Now we move to escape our graves.

Revive us with a divine dish.

Berry crumble was my real wish.

Jeanine, A Neighbor For All

I wake this morning to a fog so dense.

The sun doesn't even have a chance.

For if it could be cleared,  it would be my neighbor.

She does everything with not much labor.

No matter the season but Christmas is best. 

Her peanut brittle beats all the rest. 

For If I could envision someone married to Santa.

She fits the suit and could easily hold that mantle.

Growing up she inspired me in many ways.

Singing in the ward choir made my days.

From God's axe he hit the top notch.

She'll continue to glisten, just you watch.

Eyes cringing with sun rays peaking.

Her beauty drifts without speaking.

Head pops out for a morning kiss.

As I wake from a midnight bliss.

All day long she is on my mind.

Lack of focus on daily grind.

With constant meetings all day long.

Welcome home, her smile makes me strong.

My life now has focus with you.

If not I'm sure it'd be a zoo.

Lips enflamed with the blood of life.

Kiss you good night, my wife.

Wake Up! Your Dream Awaits.

Wake up! Your dream awaits.

I dream a world where we all wake,

And no one acts like a fake.

Now that would be a reality,

That all would love in totality.

Walk down the street and all agree.

What ever age, race, color or ethnic be.

We all see eye to eye and smell nose to nose.

Working together, not against, shows.

You know your actions hurt or even destroys

Something that you feel is bugging or annoys.

The solution is not far from your nose.

Listen with your ears, for compassion shows.

Our hearts and minds focused on making

All great in the eyes of God, is no mistaking.

Our ultimate goal for all mankind to be.

Trust in all neighbors is the guarantee.

All us have the opportunity to excel.

Where life, liberty and freedom can dwell.

And so it's up to us to wake.

Our reality is ready to make.
